A Note From Our Founder
Elly Chou is named after my mother—the person who first introduced me to the world of jewelry.
Growing up around her jewelry business, some of my earliest memories were spent watching beautiful pieces come together and learning that jewelry can hold more than beauty. It can carry stories, emotions, and the people we cherish most.
Although my career eventually led me in a different direction, earning a degree in Child Learning and Education from The University of Texas at Dallas and working in education and childcare, my love for jewelry never left.
Years later, a trip to Italy changed everything.
Inspired by its timeless beauty, craftsmanship, and appreciation for meaningful design, I began to imagine a collection of my own—one rooted in family, memory, and the moments that stay with us long after they have passed.
That vision became Elly Chou.
Every collection begins with a story. Many of our designs are named after the people closest to my heart—family members, loved ones, and even the companions who have shared life's journey alongside me. Their names live within each piece as a reminder that the most meaningful jewelry is often connected to the people we love.
Without my mother's encouragement and years of experience in the jewelry industry, Elly Chou would have remained only a dream.
